The mousesports Quake Live player Magnus „fox“ Olsson managed to win the third Intel GameOn Nordic tournament. He met his Swedish compatriot Karl „fooKi Johans-son in the Grand Final, who already played the Grand Final of Cup #1 & #2.
The mousesports player demonstrated his superior status in the Grand Final right on the first map. With a final score of 10:5 on tourney7 fox went into the lead early. After a thrilling second map the 25-year-old Swede sealed the deal with a score of 11:10 in favor for the mousesports player. Therefore fox enters the Intel GameOn Nordic Ranking on third rank, after missing first and second tournament.
Because fox hasn‘t played the two opening tournaments, he‘s currently on third rank, right behind current leader fooKi and Eythor „linkoo“ Kristjansson, a top QL competitor from Island.

The fourth and last Intel GameOn Nordic tournament is coming up soon. The best eight players from the Northern countries will get an invite to this years Dreamhack Winter in November to compete in the Final tournament and qualify the best Nordic Quake Live player. Winner of the Intel GameOn tourney at Dreamhack will also get invited to the cross-country tournament later on. Our Quake star fox will also compete in Dreamhack Winter 2009 official Quake Live tournament.
