Review: Antec Nine-Hundred Two Case

28 Jul 2010 | 22:03

after his Logitech G15 Review, Jonathan 'raz' Baker decided to review something a bit more.... stylish in terms of gaming. It's something that when we go to LAN we want to show off with, give it glowy lights, MOD it completely and make it unique. So he decided to talk about Gaming Cases. Now, some cases are monstrous, in terms of size. Cases can range from small Scan 3XS cases to massive in-your-face such as Antecs most expensive case, depend on what you're wanting to achieve from your system determines what case you want to aim for. In his review, raz is going to talk about Antec's Nine-Hundred Two Case. Airflow: This is the most important factor to look at when buying a case. Airflow insures that the case is feeding in cold air, whilst taking the warm air out which is produced by the components, this is where the case's design is flawless and is copied into the high end models also. The airflow within this case uses the Front 2 x 120mm Fans to feed the case with cool air. Because they are feeding the computer the dust filters are attached in front of the fans so that your computer doesn't become a dust mites paradise, this produces the start of the airflow. Now we need the fans that will cause the hot air from the components to be drawn from the case, this fan is the rear 120mm fan, this takes the majority of the heat from the CPU and blows it out of the case so that the other components aren't affected by it. Player Spotlight: dignitas/Flyn

27 Jul 2010 | 21:07

we would like to introduce you to a young World of Warcraft player of ours. The WoW Arena team joined us in the beginning of this year and astonishingly came second at the two events they attended so far - the European and the World Finals of the Intel Extreme Masters! Thomas 'Flyn' Kogler is part of this team and that is surely reason enough to take him aside and have a chat to him about everything that is going on in his life. Q: Later this year, Blizzard will release the next WoW expansion called Cataclysm. In general, how do you rate the changes you have heard of? Flyn: I think a lot of the changes look very fun, but I'm slightly worried about how balanced some the talents are like Improved Polymorph, also Arctic Winds I think is a bit too strong. The good thing about Arctic Winds is, it gives us a reduced chance to be hit by melee and ranged classes which is great because Mages have long needed better defense versus Hunters, but it's the part where that also effects melee classes aswell where I think it's too strong. I think our defense versus melee is fine as it is now, overall I believe the class will be fine in Cataclysm. Player Spotlight: dignitas/Flyn
